Trademarc & DC - Black Ash Days CD

Regular price $9.99

Black Ash Days is the first album from Trademarc & DC, two former members of East Coast Avengers. Black Ash Days chronicles Trademarc’s initial diagnosis of clinical depression and suicidal ideation, his multiple suicide attempts, hospitalizations and treatments, and offers it’s listeners a view into the personal struggles and anxieties that result from years of emotional trauma.

This album is an attempt to raise awareness and open a healthy dialogue pertaining to mental illness and suicide prevention. The balance of DC’s flawless production and Trademarc’s brutally honest lyrics and delivery make this a must have for any true hip hop fan.

Trademarc & DC were two of the founding members of the East Coast Avengers; a hip hop group consisting of Esoteric, (of 7L & Esoteric), Trademarc, and DC. The East Coast Avengers debut album Prison Planet contained the single “Kill Bill O’Reilly” which landed them a spot on CSNBC’s Worst Person in the World segment with Keith Olbermann as well as notable guest appearances from Vinnie Paz, Bumpy Knuckles, Celph Titled, Apathy, and Slaine. ECA followed up their success with the album Avenger’s Airwaves in 2011.
